Job description
Position Overview
The Complex Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Sales & Marketing department by managing general office tasks, preparing sales documentation, and promoting brand awareness at Aloft Hotels in Dubai. This role involves close client interaction, assisting with sales processes, and maintaining excellent communication standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, emailing, typing, faxing, and copying to assist Sales & Marketing efforts.
- Prepare necessary sales materials including proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders throughout the sales cycle.
- Promote and reinforce the hotel's brand both internally and externally.
- Assemble and distribute informational packages like brochures and promotional collateral.
- Utilize sales techniques aimed at maximizing revenue while ensuring ongoing guest loyalty to Marriott.
- Manage data entry, retrieval, reconciliation, and verification related to commissions, leads, and third parties within sales software.
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding facilities, services, pricing, packages, events, and dining options.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, communicating via phone and email to address questions and requests effectively.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and safeguard confidential information and assets.
- Welcome guests warmly, anticipate their needs, provide prompt service, and express genuine appreciation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in verbal and written forms, including proper telephone etiquette.
- Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, support teamwork, and address staff concerns empathetically.
- Meet the standards of quality assurance and company expectations diligently.
- Handle light physical tasks safely, including moving or carrying items up to 10 pounds.
- Carry out any additional reasonable tasks as directed by supervisors.
Candidate Profile
- Educational background of at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
- No specific licenses or certifications are necessary.
