Complex Financial Controller

About the Role

This role involves steering the financial strategy at the property level, managing broad financial and accounting functions in alignment with the brand's strategic goals. The controller will develop and implement strategies that ensure services meet customer and employee expectations while maximizing financial returns.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and market trends to forecast and plan budgets.
• Compare actual sales against projections, identifying areas for profit improvement.
• Develop innovative business plans and strategies to sustain competitive advantage.
• Establish strong accounting and operational controls to protect assets and enhance profitability.
• Lead, influence, and hold accounting teams accountable, ensuring clear communication of strategic goals and operational priorities.
• Support financial goals through timely reporting and ensuring accurate profit and loss documentation.
• Manage compliance, audit processes, tax obligations, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Engage with key stakeholders including owners and executives to provide financial insights and advice, aligning business strategies with financial goals.
• Oversee human resource aspects within the finance team by facilitating training, orientation, and development planning to strengthen operations.

Candidate Profile and Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related field with minimum 2 years of relevant experience; or
• Master's degree in Finance and Accounting or related field with no required experience.
