Job description
Role Overview
Partnering with a leading semiconductor organization, this opportunity invites an experienced GPU Compiler Engineer to contribute to the design and enhancement of next-generation GPU cores. The position is based in Cambridge and requires full onsite attendance.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize GPU cores targeting maximum performance and improved power efficiency.
- Develop advanced GPU compiler software and driver solutions to support innovative graphics technologies.
- Create functional simulation models and construct graphics tests to validate architectural integrity.
- Execute graphics testing procedures to detect performance bottlenecks and ensure power, performance, and area (PPA) objectives are achieved.
- Document comprehensive feature descriptions and produce technical documentation for internal teams and external partners.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Possess a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Have over five years of applicable experience in GPU engineering, focusing on hardware and software co-design.
- Thorough expertise in GPU architecture and graphics pipeline mechanisms.
- Experience in creating compilers or graphics driver software development.
