We are currently recruiting for a Community Physiotherapist at our Victoria Street Clinic in Hamilton to join our multidisciplinary team.

This permanent full-time role involves managing a varied caseload in both community and clinic environments, primarily focusing on ACC Concussion and Pain rehabilitation contracts. You will collaborate with a team of allied health professionals to deliver personalized rehabilitation programs that support clients in achieving functional independence and meaningful recovery.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and rehabilitation services specifically under ACC Concussion and Pain contracts.
• Create and implement tailored rehabilitation plans across community and clinic settings.
• Collaborate closely with psychologists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, rehabilitation consultants, and other allied health staff.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, establish goals, and monitor client progress.
• Produce detailed reports summarizing client abilities, objectives, recommendations, and treatment results.
• Effectively manage schedules and utilize clinical software systems.
• Support clients in gaining independence, returning to daily activities, and improving their overall functionality.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Registered Physiotherapist in New Zealand with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
• Previous experience with ACC-funded rehabilitation services is preferred.
• Interest or experience in concussion rehab and pain management.
• Familiarity with the biopsychosocial approach to rehabilitation.
• Possession of a full New Zealand Driver License for community-based responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
