Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie with daily kitchen operations and duties.
• Prepare dishes according to menu guidelines set by the Chef de Partie.
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the workspace following hotel standards.
• Manage food inventory and control costs within your assigned section.
• Prepare daily mise-en-place and food items across various sections in the main kitchen or satellite kitchens.
• Follow directions and suggestions provided by supervisors to complete daily tasks.
• Ensure consistent high-quality food preparation and stay updated on new recipes and cooking techniques.
• Collaborate with other kitchen sections regarding requirements, cleanliness, waste minimization, and cost control.

Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training program.
• Previous experience in reputable culinary establishments, demonstrating strong culinary skills.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Solid knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and preservation techniques.
