Job Overview
We are looking for a committed and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. In this role, you will ensure prompt and accurate delivery of meals, acting as the crucial connection between the kitchen and service areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and drinks from kitchen and bar to guests promptly, maintaining accuracy and presentation standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth meal preparation and delivery.
- Keep dining and service areas clean and organized.
- Assist with meal prep as needed, following food safety rules.
- Support waitstaff during busy times by helping clear tables.
- Ensure food is served at suitable temperatures per restaurant standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to enhance guest satisfaction and quickly address any issues.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of culinary terminology and food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices is highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and kitchen team.
