About Air Canada Cargo Accounts Service

The Air Canada Cargo Accounts department serves as the primary contact point for all internal and external inquiries related to Air Canada Cargo within the UK. This team works closely with Customer Service to ensure all client shipments are invoiced promptly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Record all incoming requests from internal and external customers and take suitable actions.
- Verify the accuracy of charges on air waybills concerning import, export, and shipments from Ireland.
- Collaborate tightly with Customer Service to eliminate billing errors.
- Communicate with clients to authorize or decline their adjustment requests; prepare freight charge adjustments as required using Word and Excel software.
- Process adjustments using the Cargo Account Settlement System (CASS) and maintain entries in the freight accounting system (CITRIX).
- Prepare freight documentation for upload to Air Canada Cargo’s document management system (Odiss).
- Provide support and temporary back-up coverage for the Cargo Accounts Coordinator and Senior Accounts Clerk as needed.
- Daily verification of CASS data sourced from Citrix, and preparation and submission of adjustment requests via Word and Excel.
- Ensure all charges reported in CASS affecting import and export shipments, as well as shipments from Ireland, are addressed.
- Perform related Air Canada Cargo Accounts tasks as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with online training provided by Air Canada University.
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Experience in freight operations is advantageous.
- Candidates must have permanent and unrestricted legal authorization to live and work in the United Kingdom.
- Familiarity with WebLynx, CITRIX, and Microsoft Office suite is considered an asset.
- Certification in Department for Transport (DfT) safety training is required.

Language Skills
Proficient spoken and written English communication capabilities are essential.
