Commercial Sales Director

Role Overview

We are seeking a Commercial Sales Director for a prominent global company with a strong presence in Ireland. In this leadership role, you will drive profitable and sustainable growth throughout the Irish division. Your responsibilities encompass management of sales operations, key account oversight, pricing strategies, new business acquisition, customer relations, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the commercial strategy to expand business across Ireland.
• Manage and strengthen customer relationships, including overseeing key accounts.
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within various retail sectors.
• Oversee pricing frameworks and customer service strategies to enhance market position.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10 years experience in B2B sales, ideally within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.
• Robust leadership skills, including hands-on people management and key account supervision.
• Proven success in securing and growing multi-site business opportunities.
• Experienced in developing relationships with senior stakeholders, specifically within retail, grocery, non-grocery, and pharmacy sectors, including Procurement and Finance Directors.
• Possess a bachelor's degree or commensurate equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years in sales prior to leadership responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive base salary ranging from €120,000 to €140,000 annually, complemented by a 15% bonus scheme with potential to reach 30% of annual salary. Additional package benefits include a company car or car allowance, membership in the company pension plan, private healthcare coverage, and various other employee benefits.
