About the Role
Join a well-established commercial roofing contractor offering services including maintenance, repair, and full re-roofing solutions for commercial and industrial clients. The company is expanding its service operations across the Western US and seeks an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Technician. This role involves diagnosing roofing problems, performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and delivering outstanding customer service. The position offers steady, year-round work with growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and troubleshoot roof leaks and sources of water infiltration.
- Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial roofs.
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repairs.
- Inspect roofing systems and document any defects or deficiencies.
- Repair crucial roof components such as flashing, seams, drains, curbs, and penetrations.
- Carry out minor re-roofing and restoration as needed.
- Maintain detailed records with photos and service reports.
- Effectively communicate repair findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams.
- Keep company tools, equipment, materials, and vehicles in working order.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Work independently or collaborate with other technicians based on project needs.
Skills and Qualifications
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in commercial roofing, especially service and repair.
- Strong aptitude for detecting and diagnosing roof leaks.
- Knowledgeable on various low-slope commercial roofing systems.
- Comfortable and safe working at heights using ladders, lifts, and fall protection gear.
- Physically fit to perform demanding tasks outdoors.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple service appointments independently.
- OSHA certification is advantageous.

- Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000.
