About the Role

We seek a skilled Commercial Roofing Estimator to become an integral part of our expanding construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating precise project estimates, assessing drawings and specifications, and collaborating seamlessly with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to create competitive and financially viable bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate comprehensive cost estimates utilizing Bluebeam and other estimating software tools.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to accurately define project scope.
• Calculate precise pricing for materials, labor, and subcontracted services.
• Maintain ongoing coordination with project managers, clients, and subcontractors throughout the bid preparation phase.
• Revise estimates promptly to reflect any changes in project requirements.
• Contribute to project budget preparation, scheduling, and expense evaluations.
• Support pricing for change orders and ensure thorough documentation of estimates.
• Handle multiple bids concurrently, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience working as a Commercial Roofing Estimator.
• Advanced proficiency with Bluebeam and commonly used construction estimating software.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial roofing systems, construction techniques, and material costs.
• Experience in preparing competitive bids and conducting effective negotiations with subcontractors.
• Exceptional attention to detail alongside strong organizational capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Educational background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
