Estimator (Civil)

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Estimator specialized in civil construction to produce precise and competitive cost projections for civil infrastructure projects. This role involves managing the entire bidding cycle to support successful project acquisition.

Key Duties

• Generate comprehensive and accurate cost analyses for civil construction projects.
• Examine project documents including plans, specifications, and drawings to define project requirements.
• Work closely with project managers and clients to craft winning bids.
• Utilize Bluebeam and Procore software to aid in estimating and related project activities.
• Solicit, assess, and negotiate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to achieve favorable costs.
• Provide assistance with project management ensuring estimates align precisely with project needs.
• Keep organized records of all estimating data, documentation, and bidding information.
• Stay informed about pricing trends and market dynamics within the civil construction sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimation, particularly in civil infrastructure.
• In-depth understanding of civil construction estimation principles and pricing strategies.
• Experienced with Bluebeam and Procore platforms.
• Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings and project specifications.
• Strong skills in negotiation, analysis, communication, and collaboration.
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational abilities.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000.
