Role Overview
As a Colour Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering breakthrough innovations by managing color quality and consistency in design and print. You will lead key initiatives, embrace ownership in your projects, and collaborate in creative environments enriched with continuous learning and mentoring. Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise color corrections and enhancements in Photoshop ensuring alignment with approved design intent.
- Apply color grading techniques to boost visual impact without deviating from original concepts.
- Collaborate with design, graphic specialists, and printing teams to match colors strictly to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across various product forms.
- Maintain deep knowledge of color theory and practical applications to achieve specific visual effects.
- Prepare and review color proofs to ensure outputs meet expectations prior to final approval.
- Coordinate with printing teams for accurate color fidelity in production.
- Document comprehensive color swatches, standards, and adjustment procedures for internal use and uphold consistent protocols across projects.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders about color decisions, adjustments, and suggestions to support project success.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in packaging, graphic design, Fine Arts, Color Science or related disciplines.
- 5 to 10 years of professional experience as a color specialist or in a similar role supported by a robust portfolio demonstrating expertise in color adjustments.
- Expert user of Adobe Photoshop and familiarity with other design software with strong grasp of color management concepts.
- Keen eye for detail with exceptional skill in color accuracy and aesthetics.
- Excellent team collaboration and communication capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
