Role Overview

We are seeking a Colour Matcher to become an integral member of our Colour Services team. Your main responsibility will be to ensure precise colour solutions tailored to our clients' printing demands by leveraging your knowledge of colour science, inks, and printing techniques supported by digital colour management and manual procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Precisely perform colour matching aligned with customer standards and print requirements following established guidance and training.
• Conduct visual assessments and analysis of colour measurement data.
• Operate safely and effectively various colour measurement instruments, software, and laboratory proofing tools.
• Prepare laboratory proofs across diverse substrates, ink types, and equipment.
• Compute and develop customized blended formulations based on enquiry specifics.
• Create and update product records using SAP and other technology platforms.
• Ensure accurate entry and validation of data across multiple systems timely and correctly.
• Provide technical assistance and act as the main liaison for colour-related queries between internal departments, field staff, and customers.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, contribute to a proactive safety culture, and ensure equipment is used in a secure and compliant manner.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum secondary education with at least Grade 4 / C or higher in Mathematics and English.
• Reliable colour vision ability (subject to testing).
• Comfortable handling numerical data and following strict procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft operating systems and Office suite applications.
• Strong communication skills enabling effective collaboration.
• Desirable (not mandatory) experience includes prior colour matching or measurement roles, familiarity with inks, coatings, printing or related manufacturing environments, use of SAP or similar software, experience with laboratory or colour measuring equipment, and knowledge of ink technologies and substrates.

Learning and Development

You do not need prior colour matching experience as full training will be provided. We seek candidates with a technical aptitude, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for learning to help them grow within this specialist field.
