Collection Team Leader

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Collection Team Leader to oversee and guide a team of Field Collection Executives responsible for bank debt recovery operations across Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. This role demands strong leadership skills focused on achieving recovery targets aligned with bank and regulatory protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise a team of 15 to 30 Collection Executives/FOS.
• Ensure consistent fulfillment of daily, weekly, and monthly collection recovery targets.
• Regularly track and analyze field visit reports and recovery activities.
• Recruit, train, and integrate new collection staff members effectively.
• Conduct daily briefings and end-of-day performance evaluations to motivate the team.
• Oversee recovery performance based on SMA buckets.
• Liaise with bank officials to maintain smooth communication and submit accurate MIS reports.
• Ensure all collection activities strictly adhere to RBI and organizational guidelines.
• Address client escalations and provide support for challenging recovery cases.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven team leadership and management ability.
• Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in field collections and recovery operations.
• Familiarity with DRA processes and banking collection procedures.
• Proven capacity to perform in a target-driven work environment.
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel and MIS report generation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking recovery projects.
• Prior experience managing FOS/DRA teams.
• Possession of a personal two-wheeler and a valid driving license is an advantage.
