Job Overview
As a Collection Intern at Muthoot Finance based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, you will engage directly with clients who have overdue payments, assisting in managing and recovering outstanding debts through effective communication and negotiation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Proactively reach out to delinquent customers via telephone, email, and other communication methods to discuss and arrange payment solutions.
- Keep thorough and current records of all borrower contacts, negotiated payment plans, and related documentation, while ensuring adherence to data privacy and protection laws.
- Generate consistent progress reports detailing collection efforts, account statuses, achievement towards collection goals, and any encountered difficulties.
Additional Information
This internship role offers a monthly stipend of 14000 INR and requires the intern to operate onsite in Chennai. The position is designed to provide practical exposure in financial collections within a reputable finance company.
