Position Overview

Join Parcelforce Worldwide in Milton Keynes as a Collection and Delivery Driver on a permanent basis, working 38 hours weekly with opportunities for overtime. Typical workdays are Monday through Wednesday and Saturday with defined start and finish times.

Compensation and Benefits

• Initial annual salary of £25,201 (£12.71 per hour)
• Salary increase to £27,561 per year (£13.94 per hour) after six months
• Potential to earn up to £30,000 yearly based on contracted hours and overtime
• Weekend premiums: additional £4.39 per hour for Saturdays and £6.58 for Sundays on contracted hours
• Paid overtime on weekdays and weekends
• Additional financial allowances including monthly non-pensionable pay (£903.84 annually) and weekly driving allowance (£26.73)

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting parcels and organising optimal delivery routes
• Conducting mandatory vehicle safety inspections
• Collecting and delivering parcels to residential and commercial addresses
• Ensuring reliable and courteous service, facilitating timely delivery of gifts and important mail

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid full UK manual driving licence (category B, up to 3.5 tonnes) registered at current residence with no more than six penalty points
• Capability to lift parcels weighing up to 30 kilograms
• Friendly demeanour, reliability, and customer-oriented mindset
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
• Interest in a stable, long-term position with a growing company
