Role Overview

As a Coffee Roaster at Campos, you will be entrusted with roasting coffee precisely and on schedule to ensure consistent flavor profiles satisfying customer requirements. Positioned at the headquarters in Banksmeadow, this role involves daily roasting of coffee beans. Work schedules include either a fixed Monday to Friday shift from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM or a flexible floater shift starting between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM and ending between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, contingent on operational needs. Flexibility is important, with occasional paid overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and carry out maintenance on Coffee Roasting Machines efficiently.
• Roast coffee following designated sensory profiles to maintain quality.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely completion of all roasts.
• Implement strategies to reduce waste during roasting processes.
• Adhere strictly to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Demonstrated ability as a cooperative team member contributing positively to group efforts.
• Strong attention to detail with a capacity to concentrate on repetitive tasks.
• Passion for coffee and eagerness to master roasting techniques unique to Campos.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications like MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Willingness to learn new skills and capable of physically lifting weights up to 24 kg (training provided).
• Possession of valid Australian work rights without restrictions.
