Co-founder and CTO

About the Role

We are seeking a Co-founder and CTO to lead the technological development and strategic direction at GREEVO. This role involves designing and evolving the platform, overseeing technical architecture, integrating payment systems, ensuring security, maintaining the platform, and steering future product enhancements. The CTO will collaborate closely with the founding team to convert business needs into dependable and scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and ongoing development of the GREEVO platform.
• Manage technical architecture and its evolution over time.
• Integrate payment solutions such as Mobile Money and other APIs.
• Ensure application security and platform maintenance.
• Drive future product development and enhancements.
• Collaborate with founders to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in web and/or mobile application development, API creation, and database management.
• Solid understanding of backend architectures, cloud computing, and data security principles.
• Experience with payment system integrations or Mobile Money solutions is advantageous.
• Ability to design scalable products and oversee their technical growth.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with independence, problem-solving skills, and adaptability in a startup environment.
• Prior exposure to sectors like agritech, marketplaces, fintech, or e-commerce is a plus.
