CNC Operator / Manufacturing Operative

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator / Manufacturing Operative to join our small team at our Foveran workshop. This position primarily involves precision cutting of diverse materials using high-end CNC panel routers like AXYZ or Tekcel, supplemented with Vcarve software proficiency. The role is diverse, combining CNC operation with hands-on assembly tasks such as bonding, gluing, and surface preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate high-end CNC panel routers accurately for various material types.
• Engage in product assembly including bonding, gluing, and surface prep tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of workspaces throughout production.
• Adapt to different tasks as business needs evolve, including potential overtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC panel routers.
• Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Proficient with measurement instruments such as vernier calipers for dimensional verification.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities related to production issues.
• Physically fit to handle manual material handling demands.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Flexible work approach including willingness to undertake varied tasks and overtime.
• Possession of a full UK driving license.
