CNC Maintenance Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a proficient CNC Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our organization. This role entails ensuring the optimal functioning, safety, and efficiency of CNC machinery through both preventive and corrective maintenance.

Primary Duties

• Conduct regular inspections, diagnose issues, and perform repairs on CNC machines and related mechanical and electrical components.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
• Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions effectively.
• Keep detailed maintenance logs and reports for tracking purposes.
• Work closely with production teams to minimize disruptions during maintenance tasks.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
• Support the installation, initial setup, and calibration of CNC equipment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Diploma, ITI, or a higher certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines.
• 3 to 5 years of practical experience maintaining CNC machinery, including both mechanical and electrical aspects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CNC machines, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.
• Competent in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with PLCs and automation technologies is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
