CNC Machine Operator

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator proficient in interpreting technical drawings and managing CNC machinery operations. The ideal candidate should have experience with various CNC machines and understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Read and analyze technical blueprints, CAD/CAM programs accurately.
• Set up, operate, and program CNC machines including milling, turning, and drilling equipment.
• Utilize precision measurement instruments like calipers and micrometers to maintain quality standards.
• Understand tooling requirements and material properties for efficient machining.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine operation issues, adjusting parameters as needed.
• Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety regulations and machine maintenance protocols.
• Carry out quality checks to identify and rectify machining defects.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation.
• Exhibit good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise machining tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completion of high school education or equivalent; vocational training such as ITI preferred.
• Certification in CNC machining or related manufacturing technology is a plus.
• Previous hands-on experience operating CNC machinery highly advantageous.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of machine components and systems.
