CNC Lathe Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to efficiently handle milling and turning processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of CNC machinery operation and setup, particularly with Siemens controllers, combined with good familiarity with inspection techniques and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines for turning and milling operations.
• Set up CNC machines including tool loading, work and tool offset adjustments, primarily using Siemens controller systems.
• Use precision measuring tools such as Vernier Caliper, Bore Gauge, and Micrometer to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Interpret engineering drawings and apply basic GD&T principles during machining.
• Select appropriate tooling and inserts to optimize machining processes.
• Perform routine quality inspections to maintain tolerance standards and production reporting.
• Follow established safety procedures within the machining environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate as required.
• Work flexible hours including shift timings as per production requirements.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Hands-on experience in CNC machine operation, especially turning and milling.
• Proficiency in setting offsets and basic CNC programming using G-code and M-code.
• Familiarity with CNC tooling, inserts, and machine setup processes.
• Knowledge of quality control and reading engineering schematics.
• Awareness of safety protocols in manufacturing settings.

Compensation

The monthly remuneration ranges from 20000 to 50000 INR based on experience and expertise.
