Senior Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to lead and supervise construction activities at the site, ensuring alignment with design plans, project specifications, and safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day construction operations and coordinate efforts between site personnel and subcontractors.
• Verify that execution adheres precisely to structural drawings, project criteria, and relevant local regulations.
• Conduct rigorous inspections on materials, workmanship quality, structural components, concrete pours, and steel reinforcement to ensure compliance with design requirements.
• Monitor construction progress against established project timelines, identify potential hold-ups, and apply solutions to maintain schedule adherence.
• Address technical challenges including design conflicts and unexpected site conditions through collaboration with structural engineers and project leads.
• Oversee labor deployment, delegate assignments to subcontractors, monitor supply deliveries, and authorize contractor claims and payment documents.
• Implement and enforce occupational health and safety protocols in accordance with OSHA or applicable national standards, including conducting safety briefings and audits.
• Maintain detailed documentation including Daily Progress Reports, material testing records, structural inspection logs, site journals, and change orders.
