Role Overview
Reporting to the Global Head of Security within the Product Security division, the Cloud Security Analyst is key to advancing our Cloud Security program. You will focus on safeguarding our cloud platforms by designing and enforcing robust security strategies to protect cloud-based applications and data. This position requires expertise in cloud technologies including AWS and Azure, containerized environments, SOC 2 compliance, and security protocol implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce security controls within AWS and Azure cloud infrastructures.
- Enhance the cloud security posture management (CSPM) program to detect and mitigate risks related to configurations and policies.
- Maintain continuous execution and audit readiness of SOC 2 cloud security controls.
- Manage security of containerized and Kubernetes environments, establishing best practices for container image security, pod security policies, and cluster segmentation.
- Promote secure system design by automating security checks and educating teams to build products with embedded security."
- Execute ongoing validation for vulnerability and compliance against security policies and regulations.
- Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and lead rapid response through automation.
- Act as a subject matter expert on cloud security technologies and solutions.
- Conduct technical security design, architecture, and configuration audits for cloud hosting platforms and associated security technologies including CNAPP, MDM, WAF, and DDoS protections.
- Collaborate with various teams (developers, engineers, architects, operations) to integrate security into critical projects such as API security.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing to stay ahead of emerging cloud security threats.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or relevant professional experience.
- Over 3 years of experience specializing in cloud security.
- At least 1 year hands-on experience with containerized environments.
- Strong expertise in Azure, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud security posture management tools.
- Skill in threat modeling and reviewing security architectures.
- Proven ability to translate compliance mandates into actionable technical controls within cloud platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security standards and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Preferred certifications: Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Certified Security Specialty.
- Excellent collaboration skills and attention to detail with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Capability to manage multiple projects under pressure, with efficient organizational skills.
- Self-driven and independent, with a readiness to learn and apply emerging security concepts rapidly.
- Strong interpersonal communication and time management, able to work effectively across distributed teams.
