About the Team
The Infrastructure team offers comprehensive managed services and solutions supporting the entire Internet infrastructure and business applications for the Group. They specialize in architectural design, data center operations, connectivity, cloud, networking, system management, storage, and security, ensuring high availability and stability for internal business units.
Job Overview
We are seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to aid regional public cloud projects across countries including Vietnam, Brazil, Thailand, the Philippines, and China. This position blends practical cloud operations with technical project coordination, requiring collaboration with infrastructure, development, security, and business teams to deploy dependable cloud and Kubernetes applications, while managing ownership, progress monitoring, and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect technical requirements and coordinate deployment of cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Monitor project schedules, dependencies, risks, action points, and delivery status.
- Support provisioning of Google Kubernetes Engine, container technology, and Kubernetes deployments.
- Assist development teams in onboarding applications and ensuring Kubernetes readiness.
- Coordinate continuous integration/delivery, monitoring, logging, artifact registry, and load balancer integration.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Kubernetes, network connectivity, access, deployment, and IAM.
- Provide status updates regularly and manage technical escalations among teams.
- Create and maintain deployment guidelines, operational runbooks, and handover documentation.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and transition completed projects to operations teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of two years' experience in cloud operations, site reliability engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD workflows.
- Exposure to at least one public cloud platform such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Huawei Cloud, or Tencent Cloud.
- Familiar with tools like GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Basic understanding of cloud networking, load balancing, identity and access management, monitoring, and security principles.
- Excellent skills in coordination, documentation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Certifications in cloud technologies, Kubernetes, DevOps, or project management are advantageous.
