Cloud Architecture Consultant

Overview

The Cloud Architecture Consultant will act as a leading technical expert advising clients on Microsoft Cloud technologies, Azure, AWS, cloud security, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and identity security frameworks. This role entails crafting, deploying, and continually enhancing secure cloud and hybrid infrastructures spanning identity management, devices, applications, networks, cloud platforms, data governance, and security operations.

Key Duties

• Architect, deploy, and streamline secure Cloud and Hybrid solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and AWS platforms.
• Lead efforts in cloud migrations, modernization projects, integration, and operational implementations.
• Develop and enforce Zero Trust models and security solutions such as ZTNA, Identity Access Management (IAM), DLP, endpoint protection, and cloud security controls.
• Manage configuration and ongoing support for Microsoft environments including Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview, Conditional Access, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Analyze client systems to detect technical and security weaknesses, proposing tailored improvements and strategies.
• Create thorough solution architectures, technical drafts, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and technical proposals for client engagements.
• Conduct client workshops, deliver technical demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (POCs), and contribute to RFP/RFQ responses and pre-sales operations.
• Advise clients on suitable Microsoft products and licensing approaches aligned with their technical and commercial objectives.
• Resolve advanced challenges related to cloud, identity, security, and hybrid infrastructures.
• Collaborate closely with client teams, sales, project managers, vendors, and technical personnel to ensure effective solution delivery.

Candidate Profile and Skills

• Minimum 10 years direct experience implementing cloud, Microsoft ecosystem, infrastructure, or cybersecurity projects.
• Deep practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 with substantive exposure to AWS cloud services.
• Advanced expertise with Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams platforms.
• Comprehensive understanding of Zero Trust frameworks, ZTNA, IAM, DLP, Conditional Access policies, MFA methods, and overall cloud security strategies.
• Proven skills in designing and managing cloud and hybrid architectures, migrations, networking, identity, security governance and operational management.
• Hands-on experience in implementation, configuration, integration, migration, and troubleshooting of complex cloud environments.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft licensing models covering Microsoft 365 Business, E3/E5 suites, Azure, Security, Compliance products, and associated add-ons.
• Experience creating solution architectures, technical sales materials (BOM, SOW, RFP/RFQ), and conducting POCs for client engagements.
• Strong customer-facing and consulting expertise, excellent presentation abilities, analytical acumen, and problem-solving competence.
• Fluency in Arabic with strong professional command of English communication.
• Preferable to hold Microsoft and/or AWS certifications validating technical competence and industry best practices.
