Job Overview
The Red Hat Consulting team invites an experienced Cloud Architect with strong expertise in OpenShift to join our Riyadh office in Saudi Arabia. This role requires deep knowledge of Red Hat's infrastructure and cloud technologies, with a focus on automation, reliability, scalability, high availability, failover, and maintainability. The architect will lead on-site implementations and deliver Red Hat's innovative technology solutions tailored for clients, while understanding their infrastructure environment and business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trust with customers by successfully leading discovery, analysis, and design workshops that influence architectural decisions aligning with Red Hat solutions.
- Direct consulting teams through pilot projects, production deployments, workload onboarding, and ongoing lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with product units, engineering, consulting, support, and sales teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience with Red Hat products.
- Help develop repeatable methodologies and tools to scale service delivery, promote consistent engagements, and reduce risks in delivery.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in consulting and architecture roles.
- Strong customer engagement skills including presenting and leading interactions with clients.
- Extensive hands-on experience with infrastructure technologies at both delivery and architecture levels.
- Proficient in implementing virtualization and container technologies for enterprise-wide deployments.
- Well-versed in Red Hat technologies such as OpenShift, Ansible Automation Platform, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Experience onboarding applications and teams onto cloud or container platforms, incorporating DevOps practices, continuous delivery, and application lifecycle management.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region, up to 100%.
Desired Qualifications
- Possession of Red Hat certifications is advantageous.
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization is considered highly beneficial.
