Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Architect specialized in AWS and multi-cloud environments to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of industry experience designing, modernizing, and implementing secure, scalable cloud solutions primarily on AWS, while also possessing proficient knowledge of Microsoft's Azure platform. This role involves collaborating with diverse teams to drive cloud adoption and hybrid cloud strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise cloud solutions focusing on AWS architecture, migration, and modernization projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop secure, scalable cloud-based systems.
- Guide hybrid and multi-cloud strategy discussions utilizing expertise in both AWS and Azure platforms.
- Engage senior business and technical stakeholders to translate complex technical ideas into practical solutions.
- Drive architecture conversations independently across multiple distributed teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrable expertise in AWS cloud architecture and enterprise solution delivery.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services and architectural patterns, enabling integration and comparative analysis between AWS and Azure.
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, networking, identity, security, data, and application services across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Practical knowledge of automation and DevOps tools, such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration platforms.
- Exceptional consulting and communication skills capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and facilitating efficient decision-making.
- Self-motivated with strong facilitation skills and the capability to lead architecture discussions independently.
Additional Information
The role is located onsite in Singapore and requires a candidate who can manage multifaceted cloud architectures and lead cloud transformation initiatives effectively. Preferred certification includes AWS Solutions Architect Professional.
