Clinical Support Specialist

Position Overview

As a Clinical Support Specialist at CONMED Corporation based in Perth, Western Australia, your primary role is to provide on-site support to the sales team to foster ongoing sales growth and maintain strong relationships with existing hospital customers, ensuring complete satisfaction with CONMED equipment in use.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend surgical cases to provide essential support.
• Manage coordination and allocation of equipment and consumables from rental or consignment stock.
• Set up medical equipment as needed.
• Offer technical assistance and troubleshooting on-site.
• Retrieve and return loaned equipment and manage stock returns efficiently.
• Oversee consignment stock ensuring availability and proper installation of all necessary equipment.

• Identify potential sales opportunities during customer interactions and communicate them to the sales team.
• Count and monitor consumable and consignment stock upon request.
• Conduct in-service training sessions at hospital sites to educate customers on equipment usage.
• Drive sales opportunities by supporting customer knowledge and consignment management.

• Provide general business support as required, including assisting team members and sales roles during absences.
• Prepare accurate, timely reports and respond to information requests.
• Maintain positive relationships within the team through proactive communication and cooperation.

• Maintain detailed and current records of activities using SF.COM or similar CRM systems.
• Engage actively in team communication, sharing updates and collaborating effectively.
