Position Overview and Responsibilities

• Perform qualification, initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits at research sites ensuring all activities comply with protocol requirements.
• Maintain ongoing communication with site medical staff including coordinators, clinical research physicians, and their teams.
• Verify investigator qualifications, training, resources, facilities, labs, equipment, and staff capabilities.
• Conduct thorough checks of medical records and source documentation against case report forms, addressing any discrepancies, and ensuring good documentation practices are maintained according to SOPs, GCP, and applicable regulations.
• Confirm that investigators enroll only eligible subjects into the studies.
• Review and maintain regulatory documents.
• Oversee accountability and inventory of investigational products or drugs.
• Evaluate adverse events, serious adverse events, concomitant medications, and related illnesses to ensure correct data reporting per protocol.
• Assess site recruitment and retention effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare detailed monitoring reports and follow-up letters summarizing findings, deviations, and recommended remedial actions to ensure compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health or science-related discipline.
• Preferably at least 1 year of experience as a study coordinator or clinical research coordinator.
• Familiarity with Clinical Monitoring standards and procedures to effectively represent this function in internal meetings and external engagements such as business development.
