About Vialto
Vialto supports multinational companies and their employees in navigating global work challenges legally and compliantly. Leveraging deep expertise across immigration, tax, business travel, remote work, payroll, and compensation, Vialto offers a unified platform and expert team to improve global workforce experiences. Serving 10,000+ clients in over 150 countries, the firm fosters collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation, providing flexible, impactful careers that enable people to work worldwide.
Role Overview
The Client Growth Director will join a newly created commercial function designed to accelerate firm growth. This role involves directly closing sales deals with quota responsibilities and partnering closely with senior leaders to maintain a continuous pipeline of opportunities. The position balances front-line sales activities with enabling partners to capitalize on leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify target markets focusing on multinational employers, private equity-backed portfolio companies, and fast-growing organizations with significant global mobility needs.
- Lead systematic outreach efforts through LinkedIn, industry events, referrals, and direct communication to generate qualified meetings.
- Thoroughly qualify client opportunities by understanding workforce compliance, immigration program challenges, and M&A mobility complexities, managing straightforward cases personally and involving partners when needed.
- Manage the logistics, timing, and preparations for RFPs and competitive pitches to free senior partners to focus on content delivery.
- Collaborate with senior partners by coordinating account plans, facilitating seamless engagement handoffs, participating in pipeline reviews, and maintaining CRM systems to ensure no opportunities are lost.
- Represent the firm at industry gatherings to build networks and referral sources including relocation firms, HR tech providers, law firms, and executive search companies.
- Support distribution of thought leadership to ensure partner insights reach relevant audiences timely.
Candidate Profile
- Possess between five and ten years of experience in complex B2B services sales, with proven capability in closing deals and managing long, relationship-driven sales cycles.
- Preferably have a background in related professional services such as relocation management, HR consulting, employment law, benefits advisory, or ERP/HCM consulting, with an understanding of sophisticated HR and finance buyer mindsets.
- Proven success in acquiring new clients from scratch, not solely focused on expanding existing accounts.
- Experience working alongside senior professionals in professional services firms, understanding the dynamic between client ownership and service delivery.
Desired Behaviors and Attributes
- Maintains a disciplined, structured approach to business development with consistent activity tracking and goal awareness.
- Developed and nurtured a meaningful professional network that has generated business over time.
- Proactively creates value by sharing relevant insights, facilitating connections, and identifying opportunities without prompting.
- Adopts a "connector" mindset to leverage relationships and deploy networks effectively for mutual benefit.
- Exhibits emotional intelligence to navigate partner relationships patiently and respectfully, understanding influence over authority.
Mindset
- Demonstrates genuine interest in the global mobility domain and is motivated to develop expertise over 6 to 12 months in immigration, tax, compliance, and assignment management.
- Comfortable with ambiguity in a newly established role, willing to help define the playbook.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and able to maintain momentum independently across lengthy sales cycles.
What We Offer
- A competitive base salary aligned with senior professional services business development roles, accompanied by performance-based bonuses linked to origination success.
- Shared credit for business wins involving partners, fostering a collaborative commercial environment.
- Direct involvement in firm leadership and strategic commercial decision-making.
- Comprehensive onboarding including client engagement shadowing, access to industry training, and mentorship from partners dedicated to global mobility expertise development.
- Opportunity to influence growth strategies within an increasingly dynamic and competitive market.
Additional Information
- This is a full-time position with a hybrid work model.
- Open to candidates located in Germany, Spain, or Italy.
