Job description
Role Overview
The Client Acquisition Specialist at Emirates Investment Bank plays a vital role in driving the bank's growth by identifying potential clients and managing the client acquisition process. This role entails supporting prospect identification, lead qualification, CRM upkeep, and ensuring smooth coordination with Relationship Managers to facilitate client onboarding. The specialist collaborates with multiple internal teams including Marketing, Operations, and Compliance to uphold data integrity and operational effectiveness.
Core Duties
- Conduct market and data research to identify affluent and high-net-worth individuals using approved sources.
- Develop targeted prospect lists for marketing campaigns, referral initiatives, and Al-Futtaim Group collaborations.
- Maintain and update prospect databases, tracking acquisition opportunities within priority segments.
- Engage with prospects to assess suitability and banking needs through structured qualification discussions, ensuring a consultative and compliant approach.
- Keep detailed CRM records reflecting interaction history, lead status, and progression through acquisition stages.
- Manage lead routing, monitor workflow and service levels, and ensure adherence to governance standards.
- Coordinate meeting schedules and handovers between prospects and Relationship Managers; follow up on onboarding stages and escalate important opportunities as needed.
- Generate regular acquisition performance reports and dashboards, measuring KPIs such as conversion rates, pipeline activity, and response times.
- Support client acquisition campaigns, events, and engagement programs including preparation and administration of target data.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory mandates, and audit requirements while maintaining confidentiality of client information.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
- Professional credentials in Sales, Banking, CRM, or Wealth Management preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Sales Support, Business Development, or Financial Services sectors.
- Proficient with CRM tools and client database management; adept at lead qualification and client engagement.
- Strong skills in analytics, reporting, and both oral and written communication.
- Previous experience within UAE banking is beneficial. Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are highly preferred.
Key Performance Measures
- Commercial metrics including number of qualified prospects, completed lead qualifications, meetings arranged, conversion rates of Relationship Manager meetings, and introducer leads generated.
- Operational standards covering CRM data accuracy, quality of reporting, adherence to service level agreements, and response time efficiencies.
- Client engagement quality focusing on prospect interaction satisfaction and timely follow-ups.
