Role Overview
As a Client Account Manager within the UK/Ireland team based in Dublin, you will manage a sophisticated portfolio of major brands. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual to help strategic partners expand their businesses on Pinterest. Acting as a trusted consultant, you will directly work with key advertisers and agencies, employing strategic insights, sales expertise, and coaching to demonstrate the platform's value effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong partner relationships through proactive communication about campaign performance, optimizations, updates, and new opportunities.
- Bridge partner objectives and internal teams such as Measurement & Insights, Product Marketing, and Creative Strategy to meet partner requirements.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of partners’ business goals and translate campaign data into compelling insights and actionable recommendations.
- Lead conversations on advertising strategies, including targeting, bidding models, creative input, and measurement tactics.
- Become an authority on Pinterest campaign best practices; ensure campaigns are optimally set up, interpret performance data, and clearly communicate impact to partners.
- Assess campaign success, troubleshoot issues, optimize results proactively, and keep partners informed on performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Engage actively in client meetings to understand and address objectives or challenges, effectively present complex solutions, and professionally manage objections.
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling chances to surpass revenue objectives.
- Simplify complex products and processes into understandable guidance for partners; maintain expertise on Pinterest ad products and keep up-to-date with evolving features and the product roadmap.
- Collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams to resolve product queries or challenges.
- Promote new performance products and campaign best practices to clients at scale.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in digital advertising sales with a history of managing valuable client relationships, driving strategic insights, and owning client communications.
- Strong ability to craft persuasive, data-driven stories and recommendations.
- Expertise in forecasting and consistently meeting targets.
- Excellent communication skills across face-to-face, telephone, and email interactions.
- Highly effective team collaborator, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment involving both technical and non-technical teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital advertising and media sales, including campaign optimization and analytical problem solving.
- Solid technical understanding of Search, Shopping, Display, or Social advertising technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant area or equivalent professional experience.
Additional Information
- This position does not include relocation support; candidates should be within commuting distance of the Dublin office.
- Collaboration style is guided by work type; this role requires in-office presence 1-2 times weekly for key collaborative sessions.
- Compensation range for this role is €58,931 to €103,130 per year, inclusive of base salary, equity, and incentive pay.
