Job Overview
Join a vibrant team where commitment and belief in your work are key. This role focuses on efficiently dispatching goods while meticulously managing stock to maintain acceptable variances at month-end and year-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate the accuracy of loading sheets.
- Prepare short loads and credit notes as required.
- Inspect bread quality ensuring compliance with standards.
- Confirm correct quantities of bread are transferred from production to dispatch areas.
- Compile reconciliation reports comparing transfers against orders or issues.
- Complete wage norms for each shift to guarantee optimal resource allocation.
- Perform pre-sealing inspections on trucks before locking.
- Oversee staff adherence to company policies, upholding high discipline standards.
- Maintain required stock levels consistently.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
- Promote team engagement and adherence to 20 keys and food safety protocols.
- Ensure all employees utilize the clocking system effectively.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong team orientation with willingness to exceed expectations.
- Effective leadership and motivational capabilities.
- High attention to detail and solid planning skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including overtime and weekends.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office, NT Windows, and MS Outlook.
- Good verbal and written communication proficiency.
- Problem-solving and sound decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of bakery operations environment.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- Minimum completion of Matric certificate or relevant tertiary qualification.
- Between 1 to 2 years of clerical work experience.
