Job Overview

The Deli Clerk role is pivotal in executing all duties professionally, responsibly, accurately, and on time. This position focuses on delivering excellent customer service, fostering loyalty, fulfilling customer needs, and promoting an engaging environment for both employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply strictly with Food Safety, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety protocols, corporate policies, and company initiatives.
• Deliver attentive customer service that satisfies shopper requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentability of the work area.
• Efficiently process customer deli orders.
• Execute merchandising plans and promote product displays.
• Prepare and handle deli items following guidelines.
• Proactively promote products to boost store sales.
• Assist in training junior team members.
• Order and receive stock adhering to inventory control procedures when required.
• Manage department shrink processes.
• Ensure the work environment is clean and safe per company standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits
