Cleaning Operative

Role Overview

The Cleaning Operative is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in assigned locations, ensuring customer and client satisfaction. Duties may differ slightly depending on the specific Aramark site and its operational requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean all assigned zones using appropriate equipment and methods.
• Properly use and store cleaning tools and machinery, ensuring regular inspections and reporting any issues or malfunctions.
• Assist with linen management and operate site washing machines when required.
• Perform additional intensive cleaning such as deep or spring cleaning as necessary.
• Adhere strictly to Health and Safety and Fire Regulations, promptly reporting any hazards to management.
• Uphold hygiene standards for all components and respond professionally to customer feedback and complaints in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain high personal hygiene and wear required clothing, footwear, and headgear at all times.
• Engage in company-provided training sessions to enhance job performance.
• Proactively suggest improvements and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks assigned by Aramark management.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in a comparable cleaning role.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Polite and courteous demeanor when interacting with others.
• Adaptable and flexible regarding work hours and assigned tasks.

Working Schedule

• Available to work night shifts as required.
