Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team at HMP Stafford, providing essential cleaning services within a secure prison environment. This full-time role involves working 39 hours per week from Monday to Friday, delivering high-quality maintenance that supports safe and efficient facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive cleaning duties according to contract standards.
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and ordering necessary supplies.
- Operate cleaning machinery carefully, following provided safety instructions and training.
- Maintain excellent service quality that meets the needs of building occupants, ensuring satisfaction.
- Contribute to local and corporate zero carbon initiatives by adopting strategic, lean practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the facility.
Candidate Requirements
- Comfortable and reliable working within a prison environment.
- Exemplary punctuality and reliability.
- Flexible and cooperative team player.
- Must obtain Prison Security Clearance; support will be provided during the process.
