Cleaner

Job Overview

The Cleaner is tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of buildings. This role involves performing rigorous cleaning tasks such as floor cleaning, carpet shampooing, restroom maintenance and stocking, washing of walls, glass surfaces, and upholstered furniture, as well as waste disposal. The role includes communication with management regarding repair needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Regular vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of various floor types.
• Dusting of ceilings, lighting fixtures, countertops, and movable furniture.
• Sanitizing and scrubbing toilets, sinks, and kitchen areas.
• Emptying and disposing of trash responsibly.
• Cleaning and drying windows effectively.
• Coordinating with the line manager to maintain adequate cleaning supplies.
• Reporting any damages or breakages observed during cleaning activities.
• Implementing measures to minimize waste and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in similar cleaning roles is required.
• Knowledgeable in the use of diverse cleaning products and equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods while working.
• Strong organizational skills.
• At least one year of cleaning experience is mandatory.
• Experience within the UAE or Gulf region is an advantage.
