Job Role and Responsibilities

• Safeguard company assets by ensuring secure custody and precise invoice verification, maintaining confidentiality in all financial documentation.
• Keep comprehensive and up-to-date financial records, including all transactions and daily cash balances, and perform daily reconciliation of cash and credit card payments.
• Follow strict cash handling protocols, guaranteeing the authenticity of all currency and securing cash drawers effectively.
• Accept and process payments for vehicle sales—new and trade-in—as well as services and maintenance operations.
• Oversee safe custody of Vehicle Clearance Certificates (VCC) and release Vehicle Gate Passes after ensuring account settlement.
• Manage payments through petty cash, credit cards or checks, and prepare petty cash reports for reimbursement by the back-office team.
• Respond to customer queries related to pricing and services, supporting internal teams with relevant financial information.
• Collaborate with the finance officer to coordinate with banking and insurance institutions.
• Communicate clearly with customers about their financial transactions and resolve any payment-related issues, escalating concerns to management when required.
• Work collaboratively within the team and provide management with constructive feedback.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• Demonstrated understanding of financial transactions including cash, credit card, and check processing, plus adherence to standard cash handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and comfort with computer applications such as Microsoft Office or financial software.
• Experience ranging from three to five years in a similar cashier role.
