Overview

Join Lidl GB as a Cleaner at their Hayling Island location, where you'll earn between £13.45 and £14.45 per hour for a 35-hour weekly contract. This role offers 30 to 35 days of holiday on a pro rata basis, a 10% in-store discount, and participation in the pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the store's cleanliness meticulously to ensure it looks welcoming.
• Keep external areas such as trolley bays, car parks, and surroundings tidy to create a positive first impression.
• Use industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Clean welfare facilities including toilets, waste, and recycling areas.
• Carry out minor upkeep and repair tasks as needed.
• Ensure adherence to hygiene standards and comply with Health and Safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Practical and hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
• Motivation to perform to the best of your abilities for the benefit of your store and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in completing assigned duties.

Additional Information

Working during bank holidays entitles you to an extra £2.00 per hour, while night shifts are compensated with an additional £3.50 per hour.
