Position Overview
We are looking for a Light Duty Cleaner to maintain cleanliness in our facilities to the highest standards, contributing to exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain floors by vacuuming and damp mopping small hard surface areas
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, common areas, and entrances
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap
- Dust office cubicles
- Polish chrome and other metal surfaces
- Spot clean walls, partitions, light switches, doors, and window sills
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience with floor care (scrubbing, buffing, polishing) is a plus
- Knowledge of stripping and waxing floors is beneficial
- Effective communication skills with supervisors, clients, and the public
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- WHMIS certification required (training available)
- Clear criminal background check is mandatory
