Job Overview
The Cleaner / Housekeeping position is a full-time, on-site role located in Dubai. The incumbent will perform comprehensive cleaning duties in short-term rental and specialty care properties. Responsibilities include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces. Other daily duties encompass changing linens, managing laundry for bedding and towels, restocking supplies, and preparing rooms to meet company-established standards.
The role requires coordinating with the handyman team to report and assist with urgent maintenance issues. Strict adherence to cleaning checklists and schedules is essential to ensure prompt property turnover. The team member is also expected to engage courteously with clients and colleagues, uphold health and safety regulations, and maintain Mop and Mend’s standards for cleanliness and quality.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in housekeeping and laundry tasks, including care for linens and towels.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to follow cleaning protocols, manage time efficiently, and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with or openness to learning company policies, safety measures, and property-specific cleaning standards.
- Background in cleaning, housekeeping, or hospitality sectors, particularly related to short-term rentals or hotel settings, is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment with an emphasis on the safe and effective use of certified materials.
