Job Overview

This role involves managing transportation services for hotel staff between accommodation and the hotel, ensuring safety, comfort, and timely travel. It includes keeping the transportation vehicles in excellent condition, maintaining records, and cooperating closely with various hotel departments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely transporting colleagues between their accommodation and the hotel with a courteous demeanor
• Perform regular cleaning and upkeep of the bus and other transportation vehicles
• Maintaining and reviewing the vehicular logbooks and preparing trip reports
• Reporting any incidents or accidents to the Transportation/Employee Services Manager promptly
• Addressing any passenger concerns or complaints effectively and professionally
• Collaborating with hotel departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food & Beverage to ensure smooth operations
• Completing scheduled vehicle maintenance tasks and refueling as needed
• Participating actively in training programs as scheduled
• Maintaining a neat and professional appearance while being friendly and approachable
• Remaining aware of the hotel's daily activities and having knowledge of all hotel facilities
• Staying updated on local traffic laws and familiar with Dubai’s roadways and landmarks

General Duties

• Coordinate effectively with the Transportation Team Leader
• Understand and adhere to company documentation and operational standards manuals related to the transportation role
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned to support team and hotel operations

Qualifications and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification
• 1 to 3 years of experience driving in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment or equivalent UAE driving experience
• Valid UAE driver’s license essential
