About the Role

Programmed Facility Management is a prominent provider of maintenance, asset management, engineering, construction, and facility upkeep services. We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Cleaners to join our Facility Management team based in Henderson, servicing the Auckland area.

This is a temporary full-time position with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role after three months for suitable candidates. Responsibilities include cleaning public restrooms, libraries, commercial properties, and community centres throughout West Auckland and neighbouring localities.

Job Details

Reporting at our Henderson depot, successful applicants will collect a company vehicle and travel to various public amenities across Auckland. This role is vital in ensuring public spaces remain clean, safe, and presentable.

The position is physically demanding, involving extended periods on your feet and moving between diverse locations while upholding stringent cleanliness standards for public-facing facilities.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning is highly advantageous
• Possession of a full New Zealand driver’s licence is mandatory
• Good physical fitness and endurance
• Reliable and punctual attendance record
• Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
• Commitment to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week
• Flexibility to work during weekends, with peak days from Thursday through Sunday
• A positive mindset and eagerness to learn

Working Hours

Day shifts cover public restrooms and libraries from 6:00am to 9:00am starts, 40 hours weekly across Thursday to Sunday plus two rostered days.

Night shifts involve community centres, kitchens, and bathrooms between 6:00pm to 2:30am, also 40 hours weekly on the same days.
