About the Role
At Apex Car Rentals in Queenstown, maintaining our vehicle fleet's pristine condition is vital to our business. We have multiple openings for hardworking individuals with a sharp eye for detail to join our team as Vehicle Service Agents. This is an entry-level, full-time position with comprehensive training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and prepare the interior and exterior of returned vehicles, including washing and vacuuming.
- Inspect vehicles for any new damages and report according to the damage reporting procedures.
- Check and record fuel levels, mileage, and other vehicle data accurately using handheld devices.
- Refuel vehicles, and assess fluid levels, tyre conditions, tyre pressure, and tread depth to ensure safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Possession of a full, clean, and valid class 1 driver's license is mandatory.
- Experience in hands-on or physical labour roles is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and in all weather conditions while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Commitment to following company procedures, guidelines, and standards.
Working Conditions and Schedule
The operation runs seven days a week, from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm. You will be expected to complete 40 hours weekly, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as necessary.
