Position Summary

This role involves the thorough cleaning, sanitizing, and upkeep of designated areas following prescribed procedures and standards that align with both company and client quality and safety expectations. The position may require regular communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe waste containers, and relocate waste paper and rubbish to specified disposal locations.
• Vacuum rugs and carpets; sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces; damp-mop and clean spills within offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public spaces.
• Manually dust and clean office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, wall paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning vents, wall grilles, and other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove fingerprints and smudges from vertical surfaces such as doors, doorframes, light switches, glass entrances, and partitions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the janitor’s closet.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Effective interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Efficient time management.
• High school diploma or GED qualification.
• Preferably at least one year of custodial cleaning experience or equivalent.
