Role Overview

The Claude Code Systems Builder role is a full-time position based in Dunedin, offering a hybrid work model with some remote flexibility. The primary responsibility is the design, development, and ongoing support of AI and automation systems utilizing Claude and associated technologies. This encompasses the entire lifecycle from proof-of-concept development to deployment of production-grade solutions.

Main Duties

• Analyze and define client needs for AI systems.
• Create and refine prompt and workflow architectures tailored to Claude technologies.
• Integrate Claude solutions with data pipelines, APIs, and internal enterprise tools.
• Iteratively improve deployed AI systems by monitoring metrics and incorporating user feedback.
• Collaborate closely with consulting teams and clients to translate business processes into dependable AI-enhanced workflows.
• Ensure successful deployment on client infrastructure and maintain thorough documentation for sustainability and knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to internal guidelines, reusable software components, and experimentation to enhance AI service capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in AI system architecture and prompt engineering aimed at Claude-based agent creation and dependable automation workflows.
• Technical skills in software scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.
• Proficiency with API integrations, webhook setups, and linking AI frameworks to existing data sources and enterprise applications.
• Knowledge or experience in on-premise or hybrid environment deployments, with attention to security and privacy considerations.
• Educational background in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent practical experience.
• Enthusiasm for Claude code development and a collaborative collaborative work ethic.
