About Team Global Express
Team Global Express NZ specializes in freight forwarding and offers complete transport and logistics services across New Zealand, covering routes from Kaitaia to Invercargill. We are currently seeking a Class 5 Driver to join our Blenheim branch and support collections and deliveries for one of our important clients.
Role Overview
This position focuses on performing metro bulk delivery routes within town. The successful candidate will play a key role in safely and promptly handling freight to meet our dispatch targets.
Primary Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely, either manually or using a forklift when necessary.
- Ensure freight is treated carefully to prevent damage.
- Scan all freight items whenever handled.
- Complete pickups and deliveries on schedule and in full.
- Engage actively in all health and safety policies and processes.
- Operate the vehicle responsibly in compliance with safety and legal standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle, both inside and outside.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a clean, full New Zealand Class 5 driving license (mandatory).
- Forklift license with OSH certification is preferred; training is available if needed.
- Dangerous Goods Endorsement is also preferred, with training provided if required.
- Strong customer service mindset.
- Good communication abilities and teamwork skills.
- Experience driving on New Zealand roads.
