Job Overview

This full-time role based in Doha, Qatar, seeks a Civil Supervision Engineer responsible for overseeing and coordinating civil construction tasks on-site. The role ensures alignment with approved plans, project specifications, quality benchmarks, health and safety rules, and schedule adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities and conduct thorough site inspections.
• Coordinate among contractors, consultants, and project teams for smooth operations.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, documents, specifications, method statements, and material submissions.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with engineering standards and quality controls.
• Prepare detailed technical reports on site activities and issues.
• Promptly identify and resolve any site-related challenges to maintain project momentum.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possess UPDA certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and supervision techniques.
• Experience managing civil construction work and ensuring conformity with technical drawings and project requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and knowledgeable in relevant engineering and project management software.
• Skilled at site inspections and monitoring construction quality standards.
• Familiar with construction materials, structural, infrastructure, and finishing works.
• Understanding of Qatari construction codes, regulations, and authorities' mandates.
• Advantageous knowledge of both local and international civil engineering standards.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, coordination, and project management abilities.
• Clear communication skills and expertise in technical reporting.
• Preferred experience in construction supervision, consultancy, or related projects.
• Effective coordination capabilities with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
