Civil Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Civil Engineer specialized in conducting comprehensive property inspections for a variety of residential and commercial buildings. The role involves assessing structural integrity, finishing quality, and identifying defects along with water leakage issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections on apartments, villas, and commercial properties checking structural components such as flooring, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, waterproofing, plumbing, electrical, and finishing works.
• Detect and document construction defects, quality of workmanship, and potential maintenance requirements, capturing photographic evidence during inspections.
• Prepare detailed professional inspection reports by utilizing company software and mobile applications, and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
• Conduct water seepage and leakage assessments using thermal imaging and diagnostic tools; pinpoint sources of dampness or waterproofing failure, and advise on corrective measures.
• Coordinate inspection activities with clients and maintenance teams, travel to various sites within Mumbai and surrounding areas, and uphold company quality and documentation standards.
• Assist with business development and contribute to refining inspection checklists and quality protocols.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in construction, quality control, site supervision, waterproofing, or inspection services; fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with construction techniques, waterproofing practices, and building materials, alongside the ability to interpret construction drawings and layouts.
• Effective communication and report writing capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and mobile inspection applications.

Preferred Expertise

• Experience with home or snagging inspections.
• Knowledge of waterproofing and leak diagnosis methods.
• Competence in using thermal imaging cameras and other inspection devices.
• Customer interaction skills and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary ranging from ₹18,000 to ₹30,000, depending on experience.
